Today, the process industry is still primarily based on fossil raw materials, but is undergoing a transformation towards regenerative resources, in particular also renewable raw materials. In addition, circular economy, recycling and resilience play important roles in existing and new value chains. The congress “BIO-raffiniert XII” takes up these topics and focuses on techniques for implementation, sustainability strategies as well as logistics and supply chains. Regional as well as international developments will be taken into account.
